Website Inspiration

Lately I've been busy at work, working on a website design. Here's some of my initial inspiration. The idea is actually turning out a bit different from my first sketches but I'm liking the direction. We'll see how it goes after our first client presentation. Back to work!

Bows and Ribbons

I haven't done much for about 3 weeks now.
But now I'm back at MSLK and back in Brooklyn. Unfortunately I forgot my USB cord in Sweden so I can't upload any pictures. Otherwise I'd show you my desk full of inspirational books and magazines for our next project. I've been scanning in pictures so I scanned in some nice little gems that I've found here in Brooklyn. My ribbon pin from Artist & Fleas and a layered necklace from Buffalo Exchange. (Officially my two favorite secondhand shops, except for the Salvation Army).

Byebye Brandkärr, hello Brooklyn!

Tomorrow I officially move from Nyköping, Sweden to Brooklyn, New York! Here are the answers to the questions I've been getting from most people:

1. No, I don't know where I'm going to live yet. I have one week booked at a hostel in Williamsburg and i'll start looking for a place to stay when I get there. All tips welcome!
2. Yes, I'm coming home to Sweden for Christmas. I haven't been this excited about Christmas since I was about 5!
3. The design agency I'm going to be at is called MSLK in Queens. They're about 6 people at the agency and work with beauty and fashion branding and are really into sustainable design. More to come on the agency when I get there of course!
4. My internship is about 3 1/2 months so I'll be coming home to Sweden again on March 20th to finish up the last two weeks of school and our final exhibition. After that I'm free to work!

MSLK internship

Today I've finally booked tickets to New York! I'll be there from November 27th - March 20th doing an internship at the design agency MSLK. Now I just have to find a place to live.
